Mrs Judith Sword, Headteacher of an inner-city Church Primary School who lives in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear has been elected as a lay representative of DEFs in the Province of York for the period 2009-2012.

In her election address Mrs Sword said, “I am concerned about the growth of secularism in our society and am eager to see evangelicals working together to promote biblical preaching and obedience to God’s word.”
