GOD'S BEAUTIFUL STORY
CEEC is pleased to offer a collection of short films to help leaders in evangelical churches launch and enable good conversations about human sexuality and the implications of any change in understanding or practice within the Church of England.
Our hope and prayer is that hundreds of churches will find these resources helpful in engaging with any proposals emerging from the Living in Love and Faith project.

FILM 4 - Are services of blessing for same-sex couples a possible compromise?
This latest film in the CEEC collection ‘God’s Beautiful Story’ is intended to help people see that what might be called a compromise or ‘live and let live’ option is unlikely to work. It introduces people to what is sometimes referred to as ‘provision’ or ‘pastoral accommodation’ (NB – this phrase can means different things to different people) and attempts to indicate that such a route forward will not help either orthodoxy or those wishing to see significant change.
